Greetings! Today we are blessed with the presence of the phoenix; here to share its tale with us. Through the journey of the phoenix, we can learn of our own journey here upon Mother Earth.
How and why we came, what we shall endure and are promised, and where we shall return. For like the phoenix, our soul is not of this world and yet, has made the journey to the opportunities only available, here.
The Tale of The Phoenix:
Once long ago in a place of Paradise, there resided a being of purity – the phoenix. For years the phoenix found comfort and joy within the winds of Paradise. Through the passage of time a stagnation began to take place, and following 1,000 years the phoenix was ready for a new chapter in eternity.
Following its decision, the phoenix took off towards the west, flying through the portal into the mortal world. A place where time, life, and even death held sway. Along its flight, the phoenix stopped to collect frankincense, cinnamon, and other aromatics. Then past Arabia it flew until it found a high wall in which to create its nest.
With its collection of herbs the Phoenix built a pyre in which to be re-born. Then with its body facing the rising sun, it sang a song of pure gratitude and sorrow. A moment’s pause between past and future.
With the sun’s passing, a spark landed upon the nest and the phoenix burned. For three days the ash settled. Then upon that third day, the phoenix arose once more.
Flying back to its Paradise, the phoenix proceeded to live another 1,000 years. Knowing that whenever it wished, the phoenix could take the journey of re-birth and connect with all the possibilities related.
Our Phoenix Story:
Like the phoenix, we come from someplace else. Be it the Divine of Creation, another realm, or maybe a different planet. Very often, our soul lacks access to emotions as we know them and also the impact of time and death. Immortality can be limiting.
In answer to the differences of soul (with all those past life memories) and the needs of specific life lessons, a desire for change, and even old emotional trauma – the mortal world offers us possibility. Which is why there is a waiting list for souls desiring to be born here in the Earth Realm, as human beings.
As a result, when we as souls become restless or desire a situation/experience that can only come from time, death, and limited memories – we choose to travel here. Like the phoenix, we choose to shift stagnation into a re-birth.
To achieve a new chapter, we acknowledge the weight and endurance needed. Like the phoenix we fly through life, weighed down by our journey we can become tired. There is an acknowledgement that despite us souls choosing to incarnate, that we know we’ve come here to learn and grow. With all of the implications associated with that reality.
Yet, even as we acknowledge the impact of growth, we also witness the hope. When the phoenix thinks it cannot fly on for another day, when it feels wounded and old, the phoenix is blessed by the heavens (the sun), and the energy triggers a re-birth. Following a moment’s pause, the phoenix rejuvenates – strength and possibility re-awakened.
As we consider our own life’s journey, allow the tale of the phoenix to strengthen you. Whether you are newly here, have traveled far and hard, are falling down, or getting back up – this is the journey. Designed not to break you, but to lead you to a re-birth offering your heart and soul the desires which bring joy and fulfillment. You do not travel this journey alone, even the phoenix had the partner of the Sun. And when we are ready, we shall make the journey back to the Paradise in which we came from.
