Giant is relative, yet it is those species so large in relation to Mother Earth that have come forth today to talk to us.
Throughout history, giants have been referenced and recorded in all corners of the globe. While their purpose, personalities, and relationships with humans have varied, they have all demonstrated a rawness in disposition. As if the enlargement of these giants has stretched them past the masks and fanciful additions to their personality.
If they were teachers of nature, it was of the great wild. If they worked on morality, there was truth and honor or dishonor.
It is as if, to project themselves into this world, the giants took their key essence and magnified it, to be strong enough to past through their portal into our realm. They are not the only species to have lived here on Mother Earth and throughout time return to where they came from. A wonderful example of this, is the mysterious Voynich manuscript, written in a foreign language of another world. Yet, their descendants live on, integrated into the human species.
Mother Earth has been home to more than just the plants, animals, and human beings. These “mythical” beings sometimes come to visit, like the mermaids, and other times they come to live for a period of time before leaving, as the giants have done.
Like humans, their diversity is vast. Resulting in giants, akin to human form, and others like the Oni who reflect more raw animalistic characteristics. Yet, whatever form they embody their pure essence has much to teach us about our own expansion and limitations.
From this perspective, the giants came forwards today to share how they condense themselves into such powerful forces that enable them to come to earth.
Limitation:
In life we are in this continual process of experiencing life. Throughout this process we acquire life experience, memories, lessons, trauma, coping mechanisms, ideas, and even personality traits. Like pieces of clothing, over and over again we don another piece that has been our life. But if we do not engage in renewal behavior, techniques, and the healing of purging (different than rejection) – this act of accumulation can mean we become weighed down by our past. Until the very weight and bulky nature has not only exhausted us, but limited our life possibilities.
It is possible to become too tired. But that doesn’t mean we need to give-up or give-in. It merely means that we need to concentrate ourselves, like the giants to bring a powerfulness to our demeanor that offers us the strength, clarity, and renewal to be capable of stepping past the roadblocks and limitations that we at one time saw as insurmountable.
The Process of Renewal:
While we keep experiencing more of life, be it new situations or merely new days, the flow of this system actually is not linear. Unlike a straight line we follow, in life we actually twist and turn in a 3-dimensional spiral.
Throughout history this growth pattern has been symbolized in the form of spirals but also customs, such as the circle dance of the Native Americans. For each rotation in the circle, they believe that you will raise upwards, like an ascending spiral – hence it’s 3-dimensional form.
Like a ladder that we climb upwards, with each step in life we have an upward trajectory. Throughout this process, we cycle back to the lessons, repeat experiences, and “same” situations as before. But they will never be truly the same, but rather each life experience that is similar to our past is elevated in some manner.
Picture it as if you are in a circle dance. Where you enter the dance, you mark with an “X.” Now each time you pass that spot it’s as if you are repeating a life experience – especially the traumatic ones.
However, the next time you cross the “X,” you carry with you all that you experienced during that rotation. Those things you saw, learned, connected with, etc. So when you cross a repeat life experience, there will always be something different and elevated about it. Someone to help, bigger self-advocacy, less pain, or learning faster.
We as human beings are here to learn and grow, but with the blessing of the Anahata (heart of Creation) we are not expected to pass or fail. We repeat the lessons of our lives to learn and strengthen them. With each rotation in life’s dance, we are stepping higher and higher.
What bogs us down is the refusal to renew, let go, and purge; resulting in limitations and roadblocks. Like the giants, when we peel off the many layers of our past that are no-longer relevant with who we are, what we desire, and where we are headed – we are then able to manifest our future more easily.
Manifestation begins with where we are, who we are, and how we feel. This points the way to what we either want more of, or our pain points the way to what we want that is different. The next step is to embody what we desire through the vibration of it in: thought, idea, behavior, action, even clothes/foods/friends/places. Hence, a renewal of what we identify as ours. Just because you once wore that superhero cape for Halloween as a child doesn’t mean you expect yourself to try and still fit into it today.
Yes, consistency is important. We like being able to know what to expect from ourselves and from others. But authenticity goes hand-in-hand with growth and change. We are not limited by our past unless we refuse to engage in acts of renewal.
This renewal, learning, and growth mean that with each pass of our lesson (that “X” spot), it can spiral outwards in our life. For example, abandonment from family, then friend, then co-worker, then acquaintance – with each pass the spiral circles farther and farther from the closeness of our inner circle and heart. We learn how to handle abandonment, find people who won’t, and hone our skills with this lesson.
Hence, a spiral that not only circles outwards, but climbs upwards. Which is achievable when we engage in renewal, learning, and growth.
Working with the Giants:
Consider your present dreams and desires – the ones you feel unattainable. Those perceived limitations in ability, right, and even support are the blocks. How can you bring renewal to your life, to help instigate movement towards your manifestations again?
Could you purge the things you own, so that you only own what matches the you, you presently are? How about seeking info to learn more about your dream? Maybe share your dream with your spiritual and people family, inviting them to help.
When you feel blocked, rather than giving-up or bulldozing yourself, take a moment to pause and reflect. To bring healing to the wounds that hurt, knowledge to empower yourself, support to your endeavors, and purge the last chapter of your life. Like the giants who condense themselves into key teachings to work with us humans, can you condense your life to reflect the goals and values you presently have?
Like reading a map, we need to acknowledge where we are, no matter the condition, to be able to make our way towards where we want to go. No matter where you presently are, you can achieve renewal when you pause before pursuing your dreams. To narrow your life to the next breath if you need to. Then as you grow stronger, to focus on the de-cluttering you need. Then the knowledge, the work, and before you know it, your thousand foot journey has been achieved. By putting one foot in front of the other, you will have made your rotation in the dance of life, and even as you cross paths with your life lessons, they will be in an elevated format. Because you did the work, because you have lived, and because you released the weight of your past in acts of renewal – you will be strong to face what comes next.
By following this spiral-based process through life, you do not stop moving in an attempt to avoid the hardships, instead you work towards manifesting a better life. With each manifestation, you are taking what you learned from before and therefore, life has the potential to keep getting better and better, even as you cross paths with your life lessons. This design of life is part of the structural support of Creation for those of us living a human experience.
