Season’s Greetings on this Monday! Today we are visited by the dragons, a mythical being wild, untamed, and fierce. As a result, they are here to help us tap into our own wildness, the fierceness of our intuition.
Intuition: a knowing or feeling we have, not based upon our five senses or previous knowledge/memory.
Intuition is something humans are born with. It fills our life before we learn and develop. Like the wild animals of the world, we mammals the homo sapiens also have the ability of intuition. This connection with the ALL of Creation.
Dragons:
Throughout history, dragons have traveled the continents. At times tapping into the lower vibrations of people and their fears. While at other times, they have helped people connect with the higher vibrations of benevolence, good luck, and prosperity. Yet their true nature is one – wild.
As a result, dragons can easily tap into the fears of manipulative, greedy, and power hungry. Because, like the wild animals of the world, dragons don’t take more than they need, from the weak, or in an attempt to dominate and control in an unhealthy manner.
Just look at the species here on Mother Earth and you will discover evidence of the animalistic nature of dragons. For example: sea otters will control their population in light of resources, the lions won’t hunt just for sport, and the leaders of deer herds aren’t actually in charge – they vote until they reach a 50%+ when deciding which watering hole to travel to.
While the shadow and lower vibrational aspects of dragons can be commonly found within western mythology, we need only turn to eastern mythology to discover the higher vibrational forces of dragons. Within the cultures of Asia we discover various dragons…
Celestial, Spiritual, Underground, Guardians of Hidden Treasure, Horned, Winged vs serpent, Water, Earth, Fire, Air, etc.
The journeys of the dragon are vast and ancient. Placing their mark in Poland, Russia, Hungary, England, Japan, Korea, China, Africa, Egypt, and even within Ancient Aztec with their Quetzalcoatl, and up into North America with the indigenous people. Displaying their variety, abilities, and personalities.
Intuition:
Like all wild beings, intuition is based upon our interconnectedness. When we lack the knowledge and insight from within our experiences or even genetic ancestry, we instinctively reach out. Grasping for answers.
Or in times of trouble, the concern brushes past us and those hairs on our neck and arms begin to rise. We feel the cosmic energy around, like wind it carries the “sent” or rather dangerous vibrations being sent out by someone or something else, and we know….danger.
We can learn to tap into our intuition by becoming open to it. When we get a feeling, listen and honor how we feel. Even when we don’t know why or where the insight comes from. In time, we develop our skill through practice.
While the dragons can help us develop our intuition, they are here to help us build into more. When intuition is in action, we are getting general insight, directions when there is danger, or maybe a shining light of our soul purpose. But intuition is merely the human element, which acts as a gateway to our soul’s abilities. These spiritual gifts are commonly known as: psychic abilities.
Spiritual Gifts:
Creation is the ALL, Spirit is the consciousness of Creation, and at the heart of it all is the Anahata. Not only does this wave of constant and unconditional love shape our possibility of life for how the realms are created, but also how we souls are born. Not only are we born and supported in living, but we also are gifted things like free-will and psychic abilities.
Psychics: “access at will, the extrasensory information and knowledge”
This umbrella term is in reference to the many and varied ways we can tap into insight that comes not from within our own mind, but the mind and worlds of Creation.
Consider…
Our bodies are energy, right?
Our souls are the stuff of Creation.
Our bodies and the world around us is energy.
The information/knowledge we can’t sense with our five dominant senses is composed of energy.
This means we have a natural ability, if we so choose, to open up and acknowledge the various frequencies of energy. Such as vibrations, places, knowledge/information, etc.
This is often why we call this our “sixth” sense.
How Spiritual Abilities Develop:
Like intuition, our expression of abilities are tied to our openness, practice, and overall adoption of them into our lives. Unlike a screwdriver, we cannot take out psychic abilities or even our intuition out of our toolbox when we want and neglect them or deny them when we feel like it. As we open to Creation through this “sixth” sense, we are beginning to integrate it into our being. The vibrational construction of our body, mind, heart, spirit, and soul are being influenced. Just as we wouldn’t take off our nose when we don’t want to smell, the more you open to your intuition and psychic abilities the more ever-present it will become in your daily life.
Due to the dramatic impact developing spiritual abilities has on ones life, I strongly encourage you to consider what role you would want your spiritual abilities to have. Why are you pursuing this path? What do you hope to gain? Are you open to radically changing how you interact with the world? The Term Psychic Broken Down:
The term psychic, as I said, acts like an umbrella. Covering all the many variations and facets that came be found in our ability to access knowledge beyond our five sense or previous memories and learning. Essentially what we are doing is tapping into the stream of knowledge within Creation.
Sometimes it’s emanating from a person, living or dead, and here discover mediums and their ability to consciously work with the dead. Or maybe we will stretch up in dimensional vibration and access the 7th Dimension, where the galactic highway of information and knowledge for the Earth Realm. Plus connections to other realms and their knowledge. Then there are empaths who don’t just know what you are feeling but will feel it with you. Your pain becomes theirs, your happiness is what they experience emotionally.
Here are just a few examples of how life altering opening up and developing psychic abilities can be. For this reason, not all humans (despite being souls with spiritual gifts) will learn to access these abilities. It is not what’s best for this lifetime. In addition, since they are tied to our soul, some people will naturally be better at certain skills as compared to others. Where we are in our soul development, how many lifetimes we’ve been studying can determine how quickly, easily, and proficiently we are in this lifetime.
Below you will discover a breakdown of the term psychic into categories and then into specific abilities…
Spiritual Gifts & Community:
Despite the radical change that transpires when we start talking to the voices in our head and the ghosts sitting next to us, there is actually room for these spiritual abilities in human existence. First of all, since humans are capable of access their abilities, it means the human species was designed to support these gifts. Secondly, we need only look to history to witness the evidence of spiritual gifts within our community structures.
The most common example is that of the community role of shaman or medicine man/woman, or even high priestess. These individuals were human beings trained in the mystic arts. They possessed the ability to shift their vibrations and step into the “spirit realm.” In reality, the “spirit realm” is everywhere, since we are ALL of Creation. However this act of stepping was synonymous with tapping into a different dimension or realm. There they would access: knowledge, energy, frequencies, healing, etc. Then make the journey back to the people to deliver their contribution to the community.
Throughout history plant medicine, vibrational chants, stories of teachings, and an acknowledge role the mystical played in human life were acknowledge and integrated into societies. Shaping supportive, healing, protective, and nurturing environments for humans to be born, live, grow, heal, and die. Adopting spiritual gifts and knowledge/understanding today can help us come together as community. Experiencing the same benefits and place/home that our ancestors had before.
Tools to Aid in Intuition and Development:
While intuition and spiritual gifts come from within, sometimes we need a helping hand. Not only in our development of our abilities, but also as additional tools. For myself, I am a visual person, having visual tools I can utilize helps to make things clearer sometimes. Selecting a tool to learn and integrate into your life, not only helps guide you and develop your own abilities, but it also helps to craft a new manner of life that honors the spiritual.
Some tools are: smudging (energy cleansing), study, meditation (accessing higher dimensions/realms, also training your will and mind). tarot/oracle cards (divination tool), astrology (divination tool, character assessment, soul purpose/contract insight), pendulum (divination tool), and even singing bowls (vibrational healing). There is also crystal healing, numerology, and more!
Spiritual Abilities in Practice:
All of our abilities when it comes to intuition or our soul-based spiritual gifts originate within the: wild. Like the dragons, there is an inherent fierceness. A power of possibility that comes from the act of reaching out, through a place within. A beautiful combination of our interconnectedness with the ALL in addition with our soul/authentic self. A truthfulness that provides us potency.
The purity of our authenticity, of the nature of Creation’s reality, and our intention to connect, learn, and be guided are melding into this power. Which originates from a deep instinctiveness like a leap of faith. Are the voices we hear in our head our own personal conjurings or from an external source? Can the things we see be real, if no one else around sees them?
When I first began my work with channeling information that question of, what was coming from my mind’s creation and what was of our collective Creation, challenged me. I was hesitant, even scared. But there is this feeling, a sense so strong it becomes a knowing. Like a dancer who doesn’t need to look in the mirror to know that their body hit the proper posture for the move. Or being able to drive within a set speed range, without needing to look down at the speedometer. We practice until through muscle memory we learn where we are, how we are doing, and where our insight is coming from.
For each person, they will have a unique journey into the world of spiritual abilities. Based on what types of psychic abilities manifest, and also how we want to use them. But what we all experience is the same process we knew in school – study, practice, tests, “failures”, success, learning, growth, development, and strength.
A Spiritual Person of Faith & Intuition:
As a medicine woman I have spent years in study and practice. What my life can teach you is that as we begin to expose ourselves to spiritual concepts, perceptions of reality, and the tools associated with it, we undergo a process. At first, these concepts/realities can be strange, then they can change things, and over time they help us improve the quality of our life. Where things get better and better the stronger our faith, conscious connection, and own abilities become.
As human beings we are born wild. In this wildness we are connected in a visceral manner. Through time we begin to live a human experience. The birthplace: ignorance. From our lack of knowledge we strike out into the world – seeking. Like a garden: the soil is our ignorance, room for growth, development, new starts. The seeds are our questions. The various areas of life we wish to see, experience, learn, etc. Curiosity acts as our water, not fear or desperation, but rather this questioning, seeking, and even joy. A fulfillment to life as we pursue our dreams and desires. For the best possible harvest of life is a combination of faith (our interconnecteed with Creation, in Spirit and the Anahata). But faith is not enough. To kneel at the base of our seed doesn’t help as much as also holding a watering can. Our co-creation means we do the work as well.
Through this process of life, aided by the tools (spiritual or otherwise) we work to learn, we find our center. In who we are, why we personally are here, and an alignment in life, where we enjoy the life we are living. This fulfillment running so deep as to originate within our soul. This centering also centers us within the flow of energy (Dao) as it moves around and within us. Placing us within our position within Creation, at the present moment. We experience a sense of anchoredness like a tree, and yet we are vividly alive and moving.
My journey in life has lead me to this reality. Of faith, personal strength through my gifts of free-will and psychic ability, to design a life I like living. One that honors my soul purpose and fulfills me. As you tap into your own wildness and the innate connection you have with ALL, the centered and anchored feeling can be yours too.
