Small, elderly men, with full beards….almost sounds like Santa.
It is the gnomes who come to us today, to tap into that holly jolly spirit and remind us about what “home” truly means. These mythical beings date back to Norse mythology, Ancient Greece, and experienced a resurgence in popularity during the Renaissance period.
Known for living within the forests and even underground, the gnomes have worked with humans with regards to: good luck and protection. While tempering their serious life lessons with a mischievousness.
Gnomes have been known to tunnel underneath the gardens of their patrons, move gardening supplies, and even scare the cats. These earthy beings work first and foremost on helping nature to grow. Therefore, they are poking their heads out of their hibernation for those of us on the western hemisphere to say hello to us today.
Since the gnomes work within and under the gardens and forests, they are also connected with the second dimensional beings. Known commonly as the 2-D Telluric Realm (although not a separate realm), the Telluric beings are those: minerals, radioactive isotopes, and other beings which live between Mother Earth’s crust (our soil) and the deep inner core. From their relationship with the second dimension, Gnomes are great for helping human beings to connect deeply with the place we call home. Anchoring us deeper than some plot of land with dirt, but to sink into the soil and even connect to the heart of Mother Earth deep within.
Gnomes:
I have it on good authority, that gnomes have unveiled a deeper truth to their personality in recent years. In the past, they reached out to us in isolated incidents. However, through time, the gnomes have become more comfortable and with these feelings of safety, they have shared a more authentic truth of their personality…
Gnomes are highly social, just like us!
In life we and the gnomes demonstrate behavior based on how safe we feel. The desire for isolation does not match with the truths of our species, but will project themselves when we don’t feel safe in general or more commonly, when we don’t feel safe when we are being authentic. That is not to say that solitary pursuits can’t be healthy, but if we never reach out and connect – we are living in a surviving coping state.
Like the gnomes, our home begins with that feeling of safety. Can we relax? Can we display ourselves in both our serious, whimsical, and vulnerable moments? Can we be like the gnomes and so many of our mythical beings and lighten up to engage in mischievous behavior without fear?
The gnomes have worked with us for thousands of years, yet through the recent evolution that humans have achieved, the gnomes have elevated their work with us as well. Now they aren’t just working to help us protect our physical home, they are here to help us connect with the home within our hearts.
Home is where the heart is. And what I mean by this, is that our external reality is a reflection of our inner world. Our mind, heart, spirit, and soul are housed within our body. The health and safety we have with our own thoughts and feelings impacts how we live…how we live impacts what sort of life we can build.
Home for us in the third-dimensional, physical, human world begins within. Home is where our heart is, and if our heart is scared we lose connection with that sense of home. Home begins within, but won’t truly take root with the outer world until we reach out and connect.
Hold the hands of the people who you are safe with, who support your authenticity, who bring a smile to your face. Anchor yourself into the land where you live. Sink deep and say hello to the Telluric beings. Watch out for the plants, animals, and people in your habitat, they are co-creating this world with you.
Home is a feeling, a sensation of belonging, being supported and accepted, and being safe and loved. Sometimes home manifests as a place, a pin on the map of the world. Other times, home is the people that wrap around you like the walls and roof.
Home is a birthright we human beings have within Creation. Where is your home? Who is your home? How can you reach out to your people this holiday season to let them know?
Holidays are what you choose to make…how can you choose a homey way to get ready to greet Santa in just 2 days!
