Greetings Chickadee! September 2025 brings with it a wave of energy. Similar to a numerological “2” energy – the heightened sensitivity not only leaves us exposed but also highly intuitive. With such raw energy, paired with the many planetary shifts (as well as the equinox), September’s collective energy introduces great movement. Resulting in not only potential chaos but also cleansing refreshment – all in all, it’s a month akin to a thundershower.
In light of such movement in our collective sphere, we are encouraged by Spirit to prioritize our needs. Which can be achieved by cultivating, maintaining, and supporting the personal sanctuary of our lives.
The outside world has a lot going on; however, we aren’t a vibrational match to it all. With billions of people, there are many avenues in life to explore. If we wish to avoid the toxic, draining, and debilitating options,…then we must promote the healing, harmonious, and supportive ones. Which means, doing what we can, where we can.
Due to free-will, there is much in life outside of our control and even our influence. As a result, we encounter a lot. Yet, only what we allow in our lives can remain. So, this month, look to what you wish to promote in your environment.
Sanctuary:
When we choose to decree that our personal lives are sanctuary, we promote a personal life which addresses our wellbeing.
Beginning with sanctuary meaning: safe. Think of the soldier wounded in battle, the priority is to get him to a safe place to address his trauma. Where is your safe space?
Sanctuary also means: truth. When the persecuted ran to the churches and temples, it wasn’t a space of denial. The shamans looked the truth of the world in the eye. The pain of the present people and the present system. They looked without flinching and dared the paradigm. I think of Quasimodo with Esmeralda crying, “Sanctuary,” as Paris burned in the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Where are you safe to be honest? Who are you safe to be authentic with?
Lastly, sanctuary means permission to prosper. Whether you seek to set down roots or travel nomadically, sanctuary isn’t
Sigil for Sanctuary:
limited to place. It’s a state. It’s a set of rules and laws which promote safety and truth. To be like a kid who falls on the playground and comes running to mom and dad. To kiss the ouch. To prosper physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Prosperity is all around, yet so often we deny ourselves permission. Sanctuary means – the multidimensional soul incarnated here on Mother Earth – has room to be real. To reawaken to the complexities of our truths; personal and collective. To reawaken to our sensitivity. Healing the fragmentation of ourselves. Bringing cohesion to our spirit.
Most trauma (the unresolved) are our unmet needs; the neglect. Only a small portion is the intentional harm by others. Sanctuary is the safety, the space, the honoring of humanity, the respect of your needs. The healing.
Conclusion:
September’s energy is the thundershower. To shake things up and through the initial movement of that domino, a cascade of changes. Depending on the free-will choices of individual people, that change can present itself as growth or chaos. We have no say in the free-will of another, but we can choose for ourselves to be honest. Honest about how we feel, what we need, and who we want to be around. The thundershower isn’t just change, but it is also a spiritual cleansing.
The trauma of the world cannot disappear with the wave of a magic wand, but it can be healed. To heal, not only do we need change but we also need participation. A person gets to decide if they will help when asked, or if it takes personal investment, or if a great earthquake is needed to trigger movement. Now is a time of cleansing in our world. A healing. If we choose to participate, the rain can wash our pain away. You might also witness those who fight or even run from healing, they will experience the lightning necessary to push them.
Spirit and our spirit guides love us unconditionally; they will never abandon us. Which means they will not leave us in agony – the relationships or the environments. If we cannot free ourselves, then the world will be shaken to jostle us free. By participating with Spirit, inviting support and guidance, you have the opportunity this month to experience a cleansing in your life and a strengthening of your personal sanctuary.
