Hello! As many of you know, I normally only post a monthly collective reading. I then offer a subscription for a deeper dive into the month’s energy each week. However, I feel compelled to share this week’s weekly here for everyone. Below you will discover the reading for this week…(if it resonates with you consider signing up to get a reading each Monday)
Greetings Chickadee!
This week we feel the themes of May on a more personal level.
Astrology: ~ Astro.com
– 16th: New Moon in Taurus – As a supermoon the energies washing up against our planet at this time are amplified. These energies are one of stability and long-term growth. To plant and nurture the seeds which will provide abundance and comfort in the years to come.
– 17th: Mercury enters Gemini – this is a unique pairing as Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini. You can consider this as a coming home – not only for the planet but for yourself. The themes of the week are further strengthened, as you align with your origins, destination, and personal path in life.
Due to Mercury’s movement and relation to Uranus – you can look to the news for surprising (yes more surprising) unfoldment in stories. As communication gets this zap of energy, an influx which reamplifies the process of exposing what has been hidden or covered up. “There could be unexpected and remarkable developments as well as serious disruptions. If you feel mentally overloaded by the current flood of information, focus for a while on an area of your life you know well. You will have enough opportunity later to get informed and form your own opinion.” – astro.com
Channeled Messages:
May is a month where secrets are exposed – the purpose is to raise to our awareness to truths which need to be addressed in order for us to heal and move forwards in a positive manner during this time of change. As a result, my spirit guides described the quality of this week’s energy like a whirlpool. Imagine pulling the plug in a bathtub or sink – watching as the water swirls into a spiral exposing what was submerged.
The imagery to this week’s energy is profound on a few levels. The first is the impact on our environment. Like the water’s whirlpool – if a small toy like a duck was floating in the tub, it too would begin to spin and move. We are impacted by our environment and this week might feel a little like the floor beneath us is spinning and changing positions.
In addition, as the water drains out there is a sort of inevitability which results in things being exposed. Imagine the ancient artifacts lost to time, their marble or bronze weighing them down. As the water drains, what once had been considered lost to the bottom of the sea is not exposed to our awareness once more. Once again, here to impact our comprehension of history, origin, purpose, and present reality.
Lastly, the nature of a whirlpool is to spin in not only a circle but a spiral – the symbolism of which has long been a spiritual teacher of healing and learning. As we experience life lessons, they spiral back around to re-teach us and as we learn they are said to spiral farther and farther from us – such is the way of things from a loving creator. Where we might have been exposed to a lesson from a parent, then a friend, maybe a co-worker then as we learn, the lesson hits further from home. Even to a point where we are not the ones experiencing the lesson, but merely witnessing someone in the grocery store learn about boundaries. We see, we recognize, and we know what the healthy answer is.
So what does this mean for our week?
This week there is a loss of innocence happening. Depending on where you are in life, you will find yourself at the various stages of this cycle. As well as witnessing others on different rungs.
Innocence begins as a form of ignorance. It is easy to feel safe when you know of no danger. Easy to be kind when you have not known hurt. Easy to be carefree when you have not known judgement.
The loss of innocence is when we proceed with life and get exposed to the lost, confused, and wounded parts of the world. Then we feel danger, hurt, and persecution for the first time. What we knew of the world expands and with it comes lessons of all shapes and sizes.
This week, we will witness information exposed. Be it the ancient artifacts of our history, the secrets of families, or the exposes of companies. We might learn where trauma came from or how dysfunctional practices became the norm. In addition, we can also tap into things we once thought were lost to us. Such as relationships, connection, security, answers, and even spiritual reassurance. Maybe a little worse for wear yet salvageable.
Then comes the next step within the cycle of innocence. Because what we know at the beginning can be learned and attained once more. That safety, kindness, comfort, and nurturance – it exists beyond innocence.
Consider a happy child. We often observe behavior that is unique to this time period – yet what if not all of these behaviors are about being a child? What if the lighthearted, joyful, inquisitive, confident, and playfulness are actually signs of something greater? What if the behavior we categories as childishness is actually behavior of a healthy state?
A loss of innocence can challenge what we had before. We feel disconnected or separate from the ability to believe in life. To feel safe in the face of dangers. To be kind even though we have known hurt. To be ourselves after we have known shame. To be carefree after we have known burden.
Yet, when we consider healing and the product of healthiness which arises – possibility unfurls before us. To be safe, protected, to caretake ourselves for who we naturally are, and to share the happiness – do we not become more like a child?
This week each person will be at various stages within the cycle of innocence. For some they will lose what they once had. For others they will be finding what they once thought was lost. And for all of us, there is the opportunity of healing to continue on our journey and cycle back around to our childishness. This time with wisdom in stride. Not like the childishness of before, but a foundness. The finding of ourselves, our needs, and our healing.
Tool: Stone – petrified wood
I often run into a schism between people who are alive and their attitude with historical people. When we are burdened by the weight of what has come before, our affection for our ancestors can be tested. However, sometimes the learning of a lesson requires patterns, time, and even generations. We are not here in spite of what has come before, but rather because of it. What is healthy and also what has been wounded.
Petrified wood is a wonderful stone merely because of its history. The time of human generations has transformed what once was a tree into stone. The energy of these stones carries with them not only the teachings of transformation but also the energy of ancestry. How many hundreds of years did the tree live, before it even began to turn to stone?
For human beings we see life generally in one of two ways. We get embroiled in the present (where our free-will power resides) and feel as if our lives are long. We can also pull back and witness the duration of a human life as short in comparison to our planet, evolution, and even change. Both are true in this world of polarity.
Working with petrified wood can help you to tap into transformation and also remembrance. We are here because of what came before and that can be a beautiful thing; to acknowledge our lineage and connection.
Oracle: The Light in the Darkness by: Lucia Dami
Authenticity is a unique phenomena because it starts out as easy. As children we know of no other way to be but ourselves. Then it can become difficult as we attempt to fit in, conform, follow, and be safe. Yet as we grow up, you will find that when we align with our truth in who we are, what matters to us, and how we wish to spend our time – a sort of fluidity unfolds.
Life is designed to teach us, but not torture us. Teachers walk among us in all shapes and sizes to ease our burdens. To show us the light and accompany us within the darkest of times. Life is meant to teach us with methodology of kindness, compassion, and love. So too, we can learn to approach ourselves, our histories, and our futures with the same tenderness.
To make the most of this week we are encouraged to open our consciousness to our inner child. Within the eyes of Spirit, we are born not to become something to fit in, but to bring our uniqueness to this world. Not only do we reap the benefits of alignment, but we also often provide something which is needed to our friends and family.
Our consciousness can lose sight of ourselves and when we open ourselves up to our inner remembrance, often in the form of our inner child – we not only receive healing for the needs which have been neglect or the comfort of being at peace with our authentic selves, but we also have more to give and receive. To be loved for who we are means we will feel it more deeply. The waves of affection are coming towards us and not a mask. The gifts we have to give get unleashed. Also, we’re happier. And happy people often behave and treat others better than ones who are in pain.
This week we are called to return to ourselves. Not in defeat but in deference. To remember that unconditional love means we were already acceptable and supported from the moment of conception (be it of soul or body). Being who you are meant to be is alignment for yourself and for the world.
Conclusion:
This week’s energy is like a call to come home. For some of you that might mean to your ancestral origins, for others it might mean turning away from the chaos of the world to reground into physical settings and day-to-day routines. While for others of you, it’s a sign to take the next step in your healing – to promote safety for the purposes of lightheartedness. Whichever path resonates with you – here is a reminder that you do not walk alone. Call upon your spirit guides to assist you and reap the benefits which come from being true to yourself.
Have a splendid week, Chickadee!
Warmly,
Rae
