Greetings Chickadee!
September marks a unique month for us, because Spirit seeks to emphasize the importance of each life. To articulate this lesson, the golden-hued energy of our month is a vibrational expression of: presence.
The power of presence cannot be understated. Without it, we are essentially powerless and disconnected individuals. Without being able to engage with the present moment, we lose the opportunities to choose, to connect with our sensations, shape the time now and what’s to come. We essentially fall out of reason for life.
While the philosophical question of: “Why are we here?” remains, it becomes pointless if we aren’t actually here. Presence is the remedy of this. It is the connection point where we plug in, turn towards, and thus can engage. Imagine a video game where you no-longer have a controller in your hand…that’s life without presence.
So, how does presence teach us about the importance of our life? To begin with, presence is that connection point not only for ourselves but between individuals. Whether a person walks into the room or doesn’t. Whether the phone rings. Whether you make the turn or keep straight. Presence or lack thereof shapes the reality of life.
In relation to the external world being touched by our presence – this teaches us how impactful we can be. Look to petitions, to votes, to community events – whether you show up in name, choice, or body – can dictate not only today but the days to come. That’s our influence of power.
In relation to the external world touching us – this teaches us how unique and meticulous our lives truly are within the eyes of Spirit. Because there is no possible way for us to take in everything in the world. Be it every song every written, every news article, every fact about every nation – it’s just too much. The truth of this indicates that our lives are not meant for everything. They are meant for what is real and relevant for us.
This doesn’t mean that we stop praying for everyone (even the ones we haven’t met, or more difficultly, the ones we have and don’t like). We can acknowledge the importance of all human life without needing to meet everyone. To acknowledge the value of every nation, even if we can’t label a global map. To respect the diversity of our species, even if we don’t what all that entails personally. We don’t need to be all knowing to express humanity.
Presence is a dynamic force in our lives. One we can utilize to connect with others, and be open to connection from them. It also can be utilized to narrow the broad expansive world into a single human experience. A life designed with intention from our soul, ourselves, our spirit guides, and Spirit’s insight – so as to shape a life worth living. One that can offer up what we need to be exposed to in order to learn, grow, heal, and experience joyful fulfillment.
This month will utilize the conditions of presence to enable our continued expansion. Sometimes calling our attention to something we need to see or address. Other times showing us when we are disconnected from something in life, because it’s a sign we’ve strayed from our designated path. Helping us to come to understand who we are, why we are personally here, and where we need to be – so our presence can provide a good day and plant the seeds for a great future.
