Tis the season of wonder, where “what” becomes the key question. What is happening? What is coming? What is the Christmas Spirit? What are we to do?
As we bring a vibrational settling to the year 2024, we experience a lot of final energies. Including personal energies like our numerological or astrological energies. But before we draw a close to 2024, we still have one final month to live.
To honor where we are and the many questions floating up from the minds of humans into the heavens, Spirit brings to us a cosmic vibration of charged light blue energy. Energy of initiation.
Picture within your mind’s eye the image of a young adult wearing sacred robes as they walk into a pool of water. Surrounding this pool are the wise elders who came before. They chant and pray; they lend their knowledge to this sacred rite. An initiation of the young into a new level of reality and life, a common practice as life continually renews, and yet still a sacred moment. A moment worth pause and consideration. What are we doing? What are we trying to get from this?
How this collective energy of initiation relates to you will depend upon what you are seeking and how dominant your ego presently is. For we are all the young, entering a new realm of knowledge. While our egos might desire that we are the elders here, sometimes we must yield to those who came before. To entrust ourselves to them. To open up to receive their wisdom. To be willing to be ignorant, for this is the birthplace of learning, growth, and our own development of wisdom.

December 2024 relates to the personal situations we face, the holiday events, and a cosmic preparation for 2025. As a result, this personalized energy from Spirit is designed to prepare us on an individual level. For some they will experience doors opening to guide them into new realms of knowledge and learning. For others, this higher establishment of self can be felt as a transition into new responsibilities, strengths, and even identity. Like the young children, we are being invited to grow into the next level of human development. Be that adult, elder, or even transforming ignorance into wisdom.
The challenge we might feel this month will come from moments where our ego tries to help us, but just ends up getting in the way.
Ego is a part of the human experience. If we choose to see it as the enemy, we create destruction, rejection, and trauma for ourselves and others. But if we understand that our ego is an attempt to have power, control, safety, and security we can start talking to our ego. Calling upon our ego to help us be safe, take back our power, and exercise control in our personal life. But in a healthy manner.
To forgo being the expert in a situation, having the bravery to expand our known world, or to acknowledge the strengths of others all call upon our ego to act in a healthy fashion. Rather than adopting a blind and deaf view of life that blocks out our insecurities.
This month’s pale blue energy acts very much like Divine Masculine containment, offering us structure, support, and guidance. The Universe itself inhabiting the role of the wise elders who circle us as we step into the pool of initiation. They are there for you. This energy, the signs, and the experience of the month can embolden us.

This question of “what” can push our egos into unhealthy dominance. We can become blind and deaf to the diversities of the world. But we have the option of choosing a different path as we journey through December and on our way to 2025.
We acknowledge that we are not the ones running these rites this month. We are being taken into new realms of knowledge that are personalized to answer our prayers. To answer: What comes next for me? What am I seeking? What do I need to learn next to be successful/safe? What kind of world can I build for myself and others?
