Science shows us at that we do better when we have the words. Over the years I have found that it’s not just the words we need but their meaning. For example: What is love?
Whether it’s in our own mind or in conversation – to achieve clarity we need to identify and put into words our truth. To connect and to understand. This glossary offers words/concepts and their meaning..
The Heart-Centered Symbol:
To convey this way of life, I have built a symbol which represents the key concepts and perceptions. Acting as a teaching tool – a portal into the frequency of Heart-Centeredness..
The Circle:
• Inner Reality: The sacred interior of the self – mind, heart, soul, & spirit.
• External Reality: the world beyond the self – our collective; the ALL.
• Interconnectedness: The circle holds the polarity and paradox of individualism and unity, containment and expansion.
The Heart:
• Shape: Love as our guiding principle. Love as feeling & action. Also the spiritual belief of the Anahata (heart of Spirit).
• Placement: Reaching upwards and outwards – a bridge between our inner personal self and the external world we co-create. A relational presence.
The Dot:
• Soul Origin: The spark of Creation, the moment we emerge from the ALL and become a soul.
• The Great Mystery of life: Be it the seed of life, the shadow self, the miracles, the unseen and unknowable.
• The Anahata: The heart which shapes reality. The unconditional love which vibrates outwards to and through all beings.
Glossary: A-Z

Acupuncture: A form of Traditional Chinese Medicine which utilizes thin needles inserted into strategic places within the channels (Meridian system) of the body – the purpose to redirect/aid/support the flow of energy of the body. Used to help with pain, recovery, healing, and overall well-being.
Akashic Records: A set of records on a cosmic level which contain the information of each individual soul, predominantly utilized for assistance in the soul’s growth and transformation. Access to these records is utilized to gain clarity not only of the soul’s past (skills & traumas), their lessons, but also their relationships with other souls over lifetimes. While access to these records can be done directly, the insight of these records can also be found in metaphysical tools like numerology & astrology.
Anahata: The Heart of Creation, the love of Spirit. From this love we are born as souls and carry this seed within us. This acknowledgement of the Anahata, colors not only our perception of reality but also gives basis for the Heart-Centered Way.
Animal Totems: An aspect of animism (the belief that all things have a spirit essence/soul including plants and animals). Therefore, the belief that the animals are our teachers, protectors, and guides. With each animal expressing: characteristics, traits, teachings, warnings, and energy. Their presence in our lives can be in the form of a power animal totem (life personality), spiritual animal totem (metaphysical teacher), shadow animal totem (the ones feared – but here to help us heal), or messenger animal totem (providing small guidance over the course of our life’s journey). This tool/relationship can aid and comfort us on our journey.

Anchored in the belief of energy, astrology considers the impact of the waves of energy coming towards us from these cosmic forces. From our cyclical energies: movement of the planets or even the great ages, like the Aquarian Age we are presently in. To how our energy system interacts with these energies: from the imprint of birth (our natal chart) to how we are impacted each day. *Astrology has been studied by many civilizations and various insights are offered in not only western astrology, but also Chinese astrology, even Cherokee astrology, and more..
Atlantis: An ancient island/civilization which offered higher vibrational abilities in both healing and technology. Yet, this higher vibration couldn’t be sustained and greed/hubris lead to the downfall. (The Emerald Tablets of Thoth (King of Atlantis and connected with Ancient Egypt) is worth checking out.)
Auras: The electromagnetic radiation which emanates from a physical form (like a person). This multi-dimensional energy is constantly transmitting and receiving information – shifting in vibrational expression. These shifts are most commonly witnessed as changes in color. Yet, they can also be processed as textures, shapes, and even sounds.

Centaur: A “mythical being”, centaurs are the blending of a horse’s body with a human torso. The most famous is, Chiron – a great teacher, often referred to as the wounded healer. The centaurs have been known since the time of Ancient Greece.
Chakras: The energy centers of not only the body but us in relation with Creation. First recorded in ancient Sanskrit, these spinning wheels of energy are impacted by our well-being and therefore also impact our health. Originally humans had conscious access to 7 chakras, but our evolution has lead us to be able to connect with 12 chakras as well as our hand & feet chakras. Working with this energy system can promote healing, clarity, stability, confidence, and overall well-being.

Like a choir director who blows into a chromatic pitch pipe to introduce a note to the choir – this introduction aids them in finding the note. Stones/crystals are utilized to assist people in healing, grounding, spiritual discovery, meditation, and more. They can be used alone or paired with other tools/focuses like chakras, specific body parts, characteristics/traits, even astrology.
D:
Dimensions: The layering of reality here within the Earth Realm. Dimensions relate to specific energies – like a layered cake. Each layer holds similar elements of life, yet each layer also has different cosmic laws, abilities, beings, and purposes/lessons. There are 12 dimensions in this Realm and we exist predominantly in 3-dimensionality, yet at this time we are moving into 5th-dimensional abilities/experiences. (We have already interacted with various dimensional beings and skills – such as 2D: the Telluric beings/radiation, 4D: Anunnaki (yes of the Ancient Sumerians and Bible), 5D: Pleiadians, 6D: the Sirians of Ancient Egypt & sacred geometry, etc.)

We are layered by dimensions and are home to a great many species – demonstrating a variety of skills and abilities.
Elf: Dating back to Germanic and Nordic folklore, these “mythical beings,” have been working with us for centuries.

Energy: The Earth Realm is made of energy – we know them as the vibrating atoms, electromagnetic fields, and even radiation. That all matter is made of energy – from you to me, to the table and chairs, the plants and animals. We are ALL energy and as such, are influenced by and influence others through energy. From the energy systems of the body (like meridians and chakras), to cosmic forces (like planets), to crystals and everybody else….it’s all energy. We can learn to navigate the flow of life (the Dao) by becoming conscious energy workers. Utilizing energy systems, tools, and even healing modalities.
Energy Healing: The utilization of energy for the purposes of healing. Through ancient modalities, shamanic teachings, or the more recent form of Reiki. By practitioners, medicine people, and even yourself.

Different from essential oils, used in aromatherapy, these flower essences Dr. Edward Bach worked with are non-lethal flowers and are meant to be ingested unlike essential oils.

To conceive of time, to see things in 3-dimensionality as opposed to their energetic form, to tune out the higher and lower dimensions, to become blind to our soul’s past. We acknowledge to unknown and unknowable – hold space for it in our lives. Not only because it is there, but because when we make space for it – magic beyond our dreams can step in and make life even better. As they say, “God dreams bigger.”

Inner Child: The concept that we hold within us all we have ever been. Within our psyche we hold not only one child of 3 and another of 5 – we hold children of various ages and states of well-being. Our inner child holds the memories, traumas, and needs of our past. Sometimes integrated into our present consciousness, other times these children reside within our subconscious. Thus, inner child work (a form of shadow work) is the process of providing the healing/unmet needs to our inner child which brings about integration. Teal Swan’s Completion Process is great for this.

Kabbalah: Also known as the Qabalah, this ancient Jewish esoteric tradition teaches principles of life. Including but not limited to the Tree of Life. (This tool is integrated into the Tarot – to provide layered insight and meaning.)
Karma: The process by which balance, learning, and healing is measured. Karma is the record book of debt – the things pending between two or more souls. Yet, karma is not designed for malicious, vengeful intention. Instead, within a love-based reality…karma shows itself as the balancing force. That “eye for an eye” is the reference to learning – people can harm others more readily when they don’t realize what’s being done. What it feels like to go without, have taken, or suffer in some form or another. Thus, the soul keeps a marker in the form of a karmic ribbon – to learn. Yet, if a soul goes about the process of learning, that karmic ribbon can be cut – the lesson learned/balance restored without the need for a similar experience. Karma is a marker, a measure – not punishment. The cosmic & celestial cause and effect to the future of our personal lives or maybe down the line for our soul in a different incarnation.

To be loved unconditionally means that there is nothing you can say, do, choose, have chosen, or will choose to break that love. In this moment – you are wanted, accepted, embraced, cherished, protected, and guided by Creation. As such, the boundary of “self” you have is respected – Spirit and your spirit guides won’t step in and help you directly until you invite them. This is why we think miracles are so rare.
Spirit Guides: The guardians and guides who walk with us in this life. Some are life-long and others are temporary based upon where we are in our journey. They can be (but aren’t limited to): guardian angels, ancestors, “mythical beings,” soul family, friends, aliens, etc..

Outlining why we have incarnated, our soul purpose, the lessons we are here to learn, who will be a part of our lives, and more. It is our guide, we has humans are the passengers of this cruise. It is our present-day free-will which will determine how aligned and what level (high or low) of our contract we will experience – the more authentic we are, the more effort we put in, the more participation we have with the signs and synchronicities – the better life will be.
Soul Group: Over the course of eternity our souls travel in packs. Due to friendships, soulmates, and karmic ties – we live lifetimes with one another. Our soul group contains many souls in various groupings. Sometimes the members of our group will act as spirit guide, teacher, antagonist, healer, supporter, lover, friend, family, whatever we have need of. Just as we will be these things for others.
Soulmate: A soul which has shared history with us. Through lifetimes we have become bonded. All soulmates began as strangers. Telluric Beings: 2nd Dimensional beings found between the crust of Mother Earth and her center. While we utilize the radiation of this realm, our bodies are not compatible with it long-term. Saying a prayer to these beings after an x-ray or exposure to “toxic” levels of radiation can help your body purge and heal.
Trauma: “Anything unresolved.” ~ Teal Swan When we encounter a moment in life and don’t know what to do, have an unmet need, are confused, can’t process it all, or are stopped from standing up for ourselves – we experience trauma. In response we can fragment psychologically, fall out of balance energetically, hit a roadblock and stagnate, come up with unhealthy conclusions/thoughts, coping mechanisms, and engage in dysfunctional relationships. We bring this altered version of ourselves into the next moment. Which can bring more hardship to us due to pre-existing wounds, poor behavior, false thinking, or just exhaustion.
