The Heart-Centered Way: The Steps

When you choose healing, love (in its many forms), happiness, and spirituality what sort of life can you build? The Heart-Centered Way combines these ideals into a tangible lifestyle. Healing the past, ending the unnecessary pain moving forwards, teaching you how to live/grow/heal and weave a personalized life you want to live.

My work began on a personal level, as I worked to figure out my life. Through this journey, I began writing what I was thinking, what I believed, and what I used. Sharing ideas to help others. Before I knew it, I was already on a path to becoming a medicine woman. By becoming a medicine woman and sharing with you all I know so far, I can unveil the possibilities we have have in life as human beings.

The Heart-Centered Way is designed to teach you how to take radical ownership of your life. To awaken to your personal power and decide what sort of life you want to live. Then guide you as you consciously craft your personal human experience…

A life you want to live.

The design of my work is a multi-pronged approach to your life, for your: mind, heart, body, spirit, and soul. To elevate us from survival and equip us to thrive.

Perception: Understanding the Human Experience

I begin my teachings at the very beginning: with our human experience.

The life we live is built from our understanding of life, ourselves, what we are meant to do, how we feel, our experiences, our preferences, our wants and needs, our fears, and our desires. All these elements meld together crafting our personal philosophy: our personal understanding of the human experience.

Our personal philosophy includes: reality, culture, religion, right and wrong, “yes” and “no”. Going so far as to influence what we think and how we feel, triggering our response and sometimes reaction to the world. Dictating how we act and the choices we make. Then our choices influence how the world responds to us.

For Example: Consider what happens when you first meet a person.

In one instance you scream in their face. Now consider how they might respond if you complimented them instead… A single choice will naturally manifest a certain life experience and environment.

Not just a choice, but our choices. Our personal free will, gifting us choice and personal power. Which has been shaped by our understanding (personal philosophy); we are literally crafting our reality. The choices of today shaping our potential future. Therefore, if you don’t like your reality/life you have the gift to change it. It’s now time to study and learn your power.

Our personal philosophy was originally put together as we learned this world and life = childhood. What we saw, experienced, were told, concluded on our own – ALL of it was building our coping mechanisms and understanding to life. Through time our personal philosophy has become buried within our subconscious, resulting in our present state of reality. Therefore, if we want to live that life we actually want, where we aren’t just safe and surviving, but thriving and fulfilled – we must test our personal philosophy in order to not only have a guide map to life, but a healthy one.

Our personal philosophy can become a healthy and personalized reference guide that will support us as we navigate moment-to-moment.

Being Human

In conjunction with our personal philosophy, we are not only limiting or enabling a happy life through what we believe, know, and think. We are also shaped by the truths of our species.

We are human beings.

This statement might seem ridiculously obvious, but what about the implications?

Do you know what is true for our species?
Do you know what comes from a society/culture/religion and what comes from the human?
Do you know what ALL humans need?
Do you know how ALL humans behave?
Do you know why women and men behave in certain ways due to thousands of years of evolution?

Part of our life we can choose, weaving our personal preferences and unique identities into our life’s design. But part of ALL of our lives, has been shaped by the truths of our species. Taking the time to learn about the human species will point the way to a happy life.

Any system, culture, society, belief, or idea that is in violation of a species truth is something that is hurting us and will eventually become obsolete. As we heal, these things will fall away; not through battle but in healing. We will walk away from the things that deny us the right to be human.

By knowing what it means to be human, we know what beliefs we can let go of, what ones we need to let go of, and we can design our life to provide us the space, time, and resources to be human. A pro-human system.

A Heart-Centered Life

While part of the design to our life will come from our species’ truths and needs, we also are afforded a large space to personalize. If you are going to work with me and my design then there are few things that you are going to need to want, for my design to work for you…

Healing, Love (in its many forms), Happiness, Spirituality.

To organize our personal philosophy and life in a manner that is effective, we need to choose a principle or lifestyle. This chosen seed will act as the core approach to life. I have chosen to live my life from a Heart-Centered principle.

What this means: when I make choices for my life, at the center of my decision making is love. As a direct result, I am placing love in all that I think, do, build, experience, and have thus designed a life I want to live. To design a long-lasting lifestyle that will continue to work for you as you evolve, means choosing an emotion. What we love can change over time, but the drive to choose what brings us: joy, love, and healing remains constant.

But why love?

When you compare the wide range of love, as opposed to the destructive nature of fear, what you discover is the natural responses that can be created. Fear naturally breeds: destruction, more fear, hatred, shame, greed, anger, self-loathing, and unhappiness.

Yet, when we consider what all the various forms of love manifest, we discover: unconditional love, self-love, familial love, friendship love, romantic love, compassion, courage, tenderness, strength, community, acceptance, and so much more. We discover the building blocks to a happy and thriving life.

My work centers around this Heart-Centered principle, becoming a Way of life. To utilize my work and allow it to guide you, you too will need to choose the core values that design my system.

The Path of Happiness

While a healthy personal philosophy, with a Heart-Centered lifestyle equips us to navigate life in a healthy and loving manner – life is happening in the present moment.

It is within the present that we discover the gift of choice. Granting us: emotions, thoughts, experiences, and so much more. In the present moment we are choosing the future. Therefore, any life we are to live is happening right now, as you read these words.

Since life is happening now and not after we learn all about life, love, and then create a complete and healthy dream life – we need to understand that… this is a process. Our lives are an evolution, a journey… a human experience. So, while we devote our life to love, healing, and growth… I structure my daily life utilizing a Path of Happiness.

To fill the gaps in my healing and knowledge, I designed this compatible tool to navigate the journey of life. Where we aren’t placing happiness at specific destinations but weaving it into the very journey itself. Empowered to select choices on a daily basis that do what they can for me today, even as they help me continue to build my Heart-Centered life.

The Heart-Centered Way

The Heart-Centered life was born from lots of theory. The ideas and ideals the would act as the foundation to my life. But what about the embodying of this thesis? I introduce to your the Heart-Centered Way, the moment in our journey where we know enough about what it means to be Heart-Centered to start doing it.

This means…

Healing: A Purging and balancing process

We didn’t start Heart-Centered, we started based on our childhood, ancestral beliefs, culture, society, religion, experiences, pains, traumas, fears, dreams, and co-creation. Some of this influence empowered us, gave us strength to face the world head on. Other times, we were wounded, misled, and completely confused. Part of the work is in unlearning what is harming us. Bringing healing to our past and to our understanding.

Which means we not only heal, but we learn to stop unnecessary pain from being created. As well as develop skills to handle the unavoidable pain in our future life.

Since as human beings, we evolve (a species truth), it also means that we don’t know everything. As a result, we will be healing for the rest of our lives: old and new wounds. But if we learn to heal, the healing process itself becomes faster, less painful, and more hopeful.

Building a Home

What makes the Heart-Centered Way so unique is the focus upon not only the external world, but our internal world. Within us we not only hold our mind (personal philosophy and free-will), but our heart (emotions), spirit (will to live), and soul.

This internal world shapes what comes to us externally. Therefore, by diving into the adventure of building a home within ourselves, we can learn peace, take it with us as we move about the world, and help to have a similar home reflected around us.

This additional information personalizes the basics of human life to reflect our individual and unique selves. Unleashing our personal power in alignment with our values. We learn to become centered and in flow with Creation itself.

A Heart Warrior

As we saw early on in this article, we are not alone. We co-create this world with each smile and each decision we choose. As a direct result, it means we not only impact people, but that we can help people.

When we consider the fact of our co-habitation of this planet and the co-creation taking place cosmically, not only do we discover our ecosystem, but how interconnected we truly are.

None of us are 100% safe until we are ALL safe. So what can we do?

The first step is to take care of ourselves. Just as we are instructed to place the oxygen mask on first, in the event of a plane crash. We must first get ourselves onto a path of healing and hopefully design a better life for ourselves; a life we want to be living.

Once we do that, we have excess. Excess energy, time, resources, compassion, love, support, guidance, and we have knowledge to share. So, really, it’s not excess – it all serves a purpose.

With these resources we can help, we can become Heart Warriors. A new incarnation of warrior, this time dedicated to the purpose of healing and transformation, not only for ourselves but for the world.

What is a Heart Warrior?

A man, woman, or non-binary who lives their life in accordance with the Heart-Centered Way. A code of conduct that provides guidance, answers, and resources so we can positively impact the world around us.

This time warriors all around the globe are not being called to the battlefield. Nor are they being asked to kill. This time they are being asked to heal. To walk a path of love, to teach it, and to utilize it to rekindle hope in the lost, wounded, and ignorant.

The Heart-Centered Way takes the next step past self-healing and reintroduces people back into the world. Connected with faith, hope, love, and understanding they will possess the patience, tolerance, compassion, and persistence needed. Like water they will help this world transform. Not through brute force but rather through dedication and devotion.

We are dedicated to: humanity, the plants and the animals, Mother Earth, Father Nature, the galaxy, life, and Creation itself. As human beings, we expand our hearts to not only include humanity, but ALL our relations.
