4 days: Crystals For The Christmas Season

With December being a universal six month in numerology, the pull of family is increased. Tack on the holiday season and for those of us across the country, we have had an increase in social functions and family get togethers. This increase can leave us drained and exhausted on a deep energetic level.

That doesn’t mean that we are then stuck feeling exhausted and potentially grumpy. There are tools we can use to help keep us grounded, clear our energy, approach life with compassion, and find the inner strength to make decisions and choices that reflect self-love and our needs.

While we can continue to use the Six Safety Tools (Grounding, Shielding, Incense & Smudging, “Bless me, Bless you,” Cutting Cords, and The Elements) we can also increase our energy manipulation by using crystals.

Crystals are a great tool because anyone can use them, and they are a tool that we can continue to use for the rest of our lives. Crystals each posses their own abilities and gifts because they each have their own chemical makeup. These individual compositions create a unique look and feel for each crystal, and it also creates a unique set of energies. Crystals possess energy because a crystal is matter. All matter has energy, meaning that crystals have energy. In addition, we as people have energy.

Since energy can influence energy- crystals have the ability to influence us and our surroundings.

There are hundreds of crystals in the world for you to use, but if you are new to crystals below I have listed 5 stones that are great to use this holiday season.

5 Crystals for The Holiday Season:

Obsidian.

Grounding is a skill that we learn to connect us to the earth, the universe, our spirit guides, Spirit, and ourselves. While we use this tool daily- we sometimes need help connecting. Obsidian is a great stone to use this holiday season because it offers so many wonderful traits.

  • Connects with the Root Chakra and Earth Start Chakra.
    • Provides psychic protection.
    • Provides grounding.
    • Helps to cleanse negativity.

Selenite.

With the increase in interactions and an increase in emotions, we need a way to clear the negativity in our auric field as well as our physical body. This deep energy cleanse comes when we use selenite. Purchased as wands, slabs, jewelry, or orbs selenite is a great stone to have.

  • Third Eye Chakra, Crown Chakra.
    • Deep energetic and physical cleansing.
    • Spiritual activation.
    • Communication with spirit guides such as angels and your higher self.

Rose Quartz.

Self-love, this basic key to a happy life can be challenged during the holiday season, especially if we’ve created some dysfunctional habits and traditions. The rose quartz is a gentle stone that imbues the world around with love. Love of self, and the love of others. This pink stone is great for any occasion.

  • Works with the Heart Chakra.
    •   Love.
    • Gentleness with self and others.
    • Aids in emotional healing.
    • Helps to release stress.

Tiger’s Eye.

As we choose to change our life, the way things work changes and we can be unsure how to approach this new life we’ve created and the people and situations in it. Tiger’s eye is a wonderful brown stone that can help provide you direction and clarity.

  • Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra, and Solar Plexus Chakra.
    • Aids in balance between extremes.
    • Helps with discernment, vitality, and strength.
    • Helps with practicality and fairness.

Unakite.

A new stone I recently discovered, unakite is a swirling green and pink stone that is perfect for the holiday season.

  • Heart Chakra and Third Eye Chakra.
    • Helps to balance the emotional and spiritual self.
    • Helps to release energetic blockage in a gentle manner.
    • Aids in moving past old traditions and habits that are no-longer relevant.
    • Aids in grounding.

During this holiday season and moving forward I encourage you to utilize the tool that is crystals. These beautiful and powerful stones are wonderful to see, hold, wear, and use.
