Interview with A Medical Intuitive: Part I

This month I have been talking about toxicity and just how we can start removing it from our lives so we can create space for happiness. I then talked about, this past week, ways we can keep that dysfunction from coming back into our lives. One suggestion was help. We need help sometimes and there is no shame in that. We all need help, and one of the ways we can get help is by seeing a psychic or an herbalist.

This alternative medicine can seem foreign and strange, which is why I interviewed a friend of mine this past week so that we can demystify this world for you. She is a Certified Master Herbalist, Certified Gemstone Therapist, Medical Intuitive, Master Dowser, and Licensed SHES Minister. https://www.thymeforhealth.com/clairvoyant-readings.html

Charlotte Branca M.H., has been an integral part of my life. Her wisdom, healing, and life has taught me a lot about life and how great it can be.

As a child my mother and I discovered Charlotte and her shop. This discovery helped to facilitate a huge growth in our spiritual knowledge and lifestyle. As my healer, Charlotte has played an integral part in my own healing and growth.

Due to our decade long relationship, our phone conversation ran longer than I expected. However, the information we discussed is all great. So, my solution is to spread out our interview over the next three days.

  • Today- I will be sharing the first part of our interview. Within this post you will learn who Charlotte is, how she became a healer, and a little bit about her.
  • Tomorrow- I will be sharing the second portion of the interview. Within this section we will discuss just what a psychic is, who is a psychic, and how it works.
  • Tuesday- The last portion of the interview will cover what alternative medicine is and when to use herbal medicine and when it’s the smart thing to use western medicine.

My Phone Interview with Charlotte Transcribed:

“I want to get started by thanking you. First I want you to hear a little bit about yourself. If you were to introduce yourself to someone who is completely new to this world, how would you do it in a gentle way that doesn’t overwhelm them?”

“That will change with every single person that I talk to. So, I don’t ever have just one answer for anybody. And I also think that’s because I don’t have one answer that really explains who I am and completely what I do. Everything that I do adjusts a bit for the person that I’m with or working with. So, for most people I have what I have on my website- that I work as a spiritual healer and clairvoyant, which seems to be safe for most people…

A lot of people have been brought up in very fundamental Christian backgrounds that don’t fit who they are now. And they want a greater spiritual awakening, but also step into this realm with a lot of bias and fear and what that means. And so I find that generally if you make things feel a little safe and allow people to ask questions it helps with that initial fear response that they have…

A lot of times I’ll open up that I’m a master herbalist, and work with herbs for better balance and healing of the body, the mind, and the spirit. People seem to be a little more open to that. Who I actually am, has evolved over years.”

“Can you tell me a little bit about your history and how you came to be a psychic and herbalist healer?”

“So, I was born with a lot of abilities, and the ability to see people’s energy and angels. I always thought everybody else saw like I did, it wasn’t until I got older that I realized other people didn’t see what I saw. Or know what I know. And that was really difficult at times because again, a lot of people are afraid. And when people are afraid they have a tendency to lash out and get angry.

And so, my initial upbringing around who I was and what I saw, was scary for me. And I was dealing with a lot of people’s anger so I kind of kept everything to myself, as much as possible. Just because it was dangerous, not just emotionally dangerous but physically dangerous. I had been attacked many times physically. By people who didn’t like how I looked at them or what I said to them… so, I’m a little bit more cautious when I approach people…

…As far as my actually background as a psychic, it wasn’t something I planned on doing professionally, or healing, as well being a master herbalist. It wasn’t a choice that, I thought, “oh this is what I want to do with my life.” It came gradually overtime, because it just is who I am…

…I started working in health food stores from a young age, and then that just progressed into studying with a lot of herbalists. And meeting so many people within the holistic community, and I started to blossom that way and wanted more information about herbs, and so I actually went and studied with the school of natural healing in Utah. And they teach Dr. Christopher’s information, and became a master herbalist through them and loved, loved the whole program.

And Dr. Christopher which a lot of people don’t know, was an Essenes, which is a specific type of spiritual practice that has a long history. And so the spiritual side of the herbs started to come out even though that’s not what they specifically teach. So I started to just kind of resonate with that more and more, and then I always was using my gift to kind of point people to what was going to be helpful for them. And that ended up kind of growing into people wanting me to do healings and readings for them.

And I was a bit resistant of that at first, but it just became what it is, and it just grew. I never really studied a particular modality within the spiritual healing, I just opened up myself to spirit and decides to just let come through, what needed to come through me. To assist other people and what their needs were.

So, when I’m working with somebody it ends up being very individual. I don’t have a preconceived notion of what I can or cannot do or what is not ok, I know there are a lot of operant rules around healing, that a lot of people will put out, I don’t have any of that. It’s like, if this is what comes to me, this is what needs to be assisted with.”

That’s beautiful, having the strength and not needing that step-by-step, because in my dabbling in becoming a healer, I’ve been so new to it, that my only choice has been to take what knowledge I have and open myself up and say, “guide me I’ve never done this before, show me the steps I need to take in order to be successful as well as stay safe,” and there is a level of where you’re really just stepping off a cliff and finding that faith, that you will be carried through, through the steps and through to the end, and because I have found very similar, each person is different, not only because they are different but what they are encountering is special and unique and will require different things.”

“Exactly, and I don’t find when I’m doing healing work, that anything is ever the same for each person. I will encounter some things that are similar, I’ve been doing this for twenty years and there are some things that are similar and there is always something new. Especially as the energies are changing on earth. I’m encountering things I’ve never seen before. Or have done before, and so I just open and really it is that faith that carries you through. I ask for every healing that I do with somebody, I do always set the intention that- it’s safe and it’s in their best interest and guided by God. So that I always know that’s where we’re going, so I just follow where that takes us.”

“We’ve talked a little about you healing others, but I want to talk about how you feel. And I’ve encountered so many different healers… and some of them approach it as a curse, some as a duty, but for you, … this is something you find pleasure in, not just something that you go in and you clock in then you clock out because it’s a gift, but because you enjoy the process and you enjoy what you learn.”

“I always enjoy the process, and I think part of the enjoyment for me is that it’s never the same it’s always going to be different when I’m working with somebody. It’s also who I am 24 hours a day. 7 days a week, I’m never off. I’m always kind of on, so it’s nice for me to just kind of have it where it, has become a lucrative profession for me as well.”

At the end of the interview I asked Charlotte to share a challenge and some tools with us. Here’s what she had to share and I hope you check out more from our interview over the next few days.

Challenge:

“The challenge for the readers this week around the rose quartz, is to be aware of your own self-talk and messages, where you believe you are wrong or doing something wrong. And let go of imagining what others are thinking of you. So that you’re moving more into a neutral state and not projecting or assuming anything, because that is part of self-love and loving others, is not moving into fear and anger and frustration with yourself or others.”

Tools:

Stone: Rose Quartz Crystal

“When you asked about a crystal the rose quartz was coming to mind. The reason why- was to give the intention to the stone, actually tell the stone.. what you would like it to work with you with.

Using the rose quartz crystal, this (programming) can be used with any crystal each crystal has its own gift and assistance for health and healing and balance. The rose quartz crystal is about love, loving yourself and loving others. And you can actually just by holding the crystal in your hands, and focusing on it, you can decide and let the crystal, it’s communication with the crystal, what you would like to help you with.

So, you can literally program or intend or ask, everybody’s going to be a little different on how that works for them, what they want to do, how they’re going to put that verbally.

[The intention] That the crystal helps you in a specific way. And was coming up for the rose quartz crystal is for giving the intention for the stone, to assist with an easy transition and loving transition to the greatest self-love and acceptance of others that is possible. So we want the rose quartz to bring love to self and to others and clear out any of these challenges that come up around this, easily.”

Affirmation:

“The affirmation that is coming up to me is that, “I am capable of handling my life even the difficult and overwhelming challenges.”
